Use Group Aggregates for Total Attendance

An aggregate is a "group of groups" that totals attendance across multiple groups. Use aggregates when you need a combined attendance count across several classes or events — for example, to see the total attendance for all of your weekend classes.

Create an Aggregate

  1. In the sidebar menu, expand Groups, then click Aggregates.
  2. Click the Add Aggregate button.
  3. Enter a Name for your aggregate.
  4. Select whether this aggregate will include groups that collect individual attendance or total attendance.

Note: An aggregate can only include groups of the same attendance type — either individual attendance or total attendance, but not both. Once you make a selection, a list of all eligible groups and aggregates will appear.

  1. Select the groups and/or aggregates to include in this aggregate.
  2. Click Save.

Make an Aggregate of Aggregates

You can combine existing aggregates into a new, higher-level aggregate. For example, if you have a Children's Sunday School aggregate and an Adult Sunday School aggregate, you can combine them into a single aggregate to view attendance totals for children, adults, and your ministry as a whole.

Aggregate Attendance Reports

To view aggregate attendance reports:

  1. In the sidebar menu, expand Reports, then click Attendance.
  2. Across the top, click the By Aggregate tab.
